Our customer is global manufacturing company that specialises in the inspection of components for the aerospace and defence sectors. Their work requires the use of high sensitivity penetrants in compliance with the specification requirements outlined in AMS 2644.

They had received a request for two requirements from their downstream customer, neither of which were applicable to the type of testing they were doing. We compiled some information to help our customer’s customer to understand the differences between Type Testing, Batch Testing and In-Use Testing.
