|Quantitative Quality Indicators (QQI)
||QQI test pieces are used to verify field direction and relative strength. They also balance multi-directional fields and increase productivity by minimising magnetising shots. QQI test pieces are manufactured strictly in accordance with AISI 1005 - the applicable AMS standard for mild low-carbon steel, which is governed by SAE Aerospace Standard AS 5371. They also conform to ASTM E1444-05 and ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Section V, Article 7-764.1.2.
