Magnaflux water treatment solutions are designed to remove penetrant from post-rinsewater. Once clean, the rinsewater can be pumped to drain/waste (subject to local authority requirements) or recycled to another process.
To treat the rinsewater, we use activated carbon, which is highly porous and absorbs a wide range of chemical compounds. It is mainly used for the removal of organic compounds, although all compounds are absorbed to some extent.
The S200SA is a semi-automated unit comprising a unique activated carbon filter drum with a pump that circulates the rinsewater from the holding tank through the carbon filter, and then back to the holding tank. This process is repeated until the rinsewater is clean. Once clean, the rinsewater can be pumped to drain simply by moving the control valve to the drain position.
Once depleted, the carbon drum can simply be replaced with a fresh drum to continue treatment of the rinsewater.

The S500 unit comprises a pressure vessel filled with activated carbon, and fitted with inlet and outlet control valves. The pump, operated by float switches, forces contaminated water to the top of the vessel, which then passes down through the activated carbon filter bed, where the contaminants are removed.
The S500C also features the added benefit of a coalescing filter to remove post-emulsifiable penetrant from pre-rinsewater.
